What ARCHIVE Means
ARCHIVE is the preservation body of work within Heather Broomhall Studio.
It exists for life chapters that deserve record.
But preservation does not have to mean serious. It means meaningful.
Senior portraits inside ARCHIVE are approached as a portrait study of identity - a thoughtful record of who they are at this exact intersection of youth and adulthood.
It’s not rushed..
And it is never meant to be ordinary.
It is intentional.
And it is unforgettable.
ARCHIVE | SENIORS
The last portrait before adulthood begins to define a bigger identity. ARCHIVE | SENIORS exists to preserve that moment with intention - and to celebrate it!
This season is worth remembering exactly as it feels:
Exciting.
Nerve-wracking.
Proud.
Free.
The Approach
Every ARCHIVE Senior begins with a Conversation.
We discuss:
Who they fell they are now. What the year means
Where they are headed. What they want to remember.
How they want to be remembered in this season.
There will be smiles, seriousness, calm, and laughter.
During the Sitting, direction is intentionally structured with guidance designed to reveal the confidence in being themself.
After the Portrait Sitting, images are selected and finished for preservation.
ARCHIVE portraits are designed to live beyond screens and to last for generations.
They are created for walls, albums, and the family record.
Why this matters at 18
Eighteen feels young.
It is also the last portrait before life changes.
This is the face that still comes home for dinner.
The posture before independence shapes it.
The confidence before experience hardens it.
These portraits become:
The image parents return to
The image future children will see
The image that marks a final chapter closed
ARCHIVE preserves it with care.

For Families Who Value Both Meaning and Memory
ARCHIVE | SENIORS is for families who believe:
Celebration and intention can exist together.
Family deserves to be documented.
This Season is worth more than quick snapshots.Studio & Outdoor Sittings are reserved seasonally in Tulsa
-
ARCHIVE | Seniors is designed as a portrait study, not a volume-based senior session.
While many senior portraits focus on trends and fast-turnaround, I prioritize:
• Intentional direction
• Editorial composition
• A refined, celebratory experience
• Printed preservationThese portraits are created to feel relevant in fifty years, not just this season.
-
ARCHIVE | SENIORS is for families in their Senior Year:
Moments deserve more than digital storage.
Identity deserves to be documented with intention.
Beauty is worth preserving at every stage of becoming. -
We believe in keeping things simple, smart, and human. Every project starts with listening and ends with something we're proud to share.
-
ARCHIVE | Seniors are photographed both during the Fall/Winter in studio and in the Spring in carefully selected environments that align with the refined aesthetic of the work.
There are two outdoor locations offered at this time:
They are specifically chosen for composition and light.
-
Yes.
Outfits are selected intentionally to reflect both personality and also not being too distracting. We refine choices during the Portrait Sitting Conversation to ensure cohesion.
Trends are absolutely welcomed and they are guided thoughtfully so the final portraits age well.
-
ARCHIVE portraits are created with legacy in mind.
Families most often select:
• Framed archival wall portraits
• Heirloom albumsDigital files are available with your product purchase, but the intention is always to create tangible work that lives beyond screens.
-
Not even slightly.
Most people who say they are “awkward” have simply never been directed with intention.
During your Sitting, your senior will be guided with posing. Clear guidance removes pressure and builds confidence more quickly.
The goal is not perfection.
It is comfort and presence. -
