San Diego Senior Portraits never get old! As if a gorgeous Senior wasn’t enough for Portraits, we added a horse into the mix. I have to say, out of all the horses I have ever photographed, he was the most prepared. He literally smiled at the camera! No tricks or anything were used to get him to smile and in between shots, he stopped!
Literally, I was in shock and awe during these San Diego Senior Portraits! They mentioned that Holmer the horse had been photographed before for a Equine Magazine, but never have I seen a horse pose that much and for that long! I would have thought it was all a coincidence, but every time I lowered the camera he went back to doing his thing and looking for anything he could eat.
On top of that, we had a wardrobe change and plenty of photos on her horse, with her dog, and of course just her. One thing I love about San Diego, is that there is so much in one area. In one day, you could drive to a crowded beach or a nearly private one, rocks, cliffs, mountain tops, farms, ranches, deserts, sand dunes, piers, harbors, urban/downtown areas, and National and State Parks!
It never gets boring here and I think your San Diego Senior Portraits should represent you and this time in your life. What’s important to you? During her Session, we had 3 wardrobe changes and had an amazing time around the stables.
This lovely lady had a great time and along with her family, she will have wonderful memories when she goes off to college this Fall! And even more importantly, she will have wonderful heirlooms to pass down to her children and grandchildren! We decided to capture her horse, Holmer, in action and got some great shots of the two of them trotting around on the Ranch.
After some of the more formal shots, we had some fun and got some more Natural/Artsy ones too!
This was definitely one of my favorite Senior Sessions in San Diego and I can’t wait to do more!
