Your Portraits may be taken in the East Village Studio or Outdoors at the nearby beach or Balboa Park.
Keepsakes: Custom Designed Albums, Wall Art, and a Keepsake Video are all available. Sessions are Limited and you are encouraged to book early for a timely Delivery.
Meet your photographerI’m Heather! I'm so happy that you found me! I'm a Studio and Outdoor photographer, curating portrait services for families and beauty portraits for women of all ages. I am a fine art photographer with two decades of experience behind the camera. My families come to me because they want beautiful photos and because they want to have fun and leave the stressing to me. Your experience will be organic and comfortable with fine attention to detail; whether you are looking for an elegant or a down-to-earth portrait session. I want you to not only remember your Milestones, but to feel something with each photo!

What is a San Diego Graduation Photographer?
A San Diego Graduation Photographer specializes in celebrating an important milestone for High School Seniors and graduating college students. This is a typical “right of passage” for an American student. Personally speaking, I believe this is not only an important milestone in your academic life but also for your spirit, body, and mind.
For High School Seniors a Graduation Photography studio captures your youth and who you are at this time in your life. This is a time that you will continue to grow from. those experiences have shaped you and formed how you will approach and live your life for the next phase in your journey. Your Senior Portrait Session will tell the story of you and this time in your life - Are you quiet and reserved? Are you outgoing and expressive? Do you even know who you are yet? These are all things that will be explored during your Senior Session.
I advise all of my Seniors and their families to consider who you are as a young adult. Do you like sports and being outdoors? If so, an outdoor location near beautiful hills such as mission trails Park might be the right location for your Senior Portrait Session. Do you love the Beach and/or surfing? Is that a place where you spend time with your friends? if so, the beach during Sunset may be the best backdrop for your Portraits.
Decades from now, when you are wise and wrinkly, you will look back at these images as you share them with your grandchildren and it will tell your story of this time in your life. So, that photo of you sitting under your favorite tree in the park, which may have seen simple today, will do all of the speaking for you.
While being a San Diego Graduation Photographer, I have realized that not everyone has a perfect relationship with themselves or sometimes with their family, And thats okay. This is why I feel so strongly that this day is about you and to Celebrate your achievements. I want you to come away from your Session with not only beautiful images but the best experience you can have. You should feel Beautiful and celebrated!
Taking your Portraits should be fun! That is why each Session includes Hair & Makeup, an option for Studio And/Or Outdoor Portraits, and We can even travel as far as the Glamis Sand Dunes in Southeast California. Wardrobe and Styling will be decided upon together.
If any of this sounds confusing, that’s okay. Basically, the goal is to make your Portrait Session as easy and fun as possible for you. A great San Diego Graduation Photographer, will guide you through the whole process and make sure to help you with the more challenging decisions.
As A College Graduate, you will be in a slightly different place in your journey. Your Graduation Day is a grand achievement and worth celebrating - not only for your diploma, but for all of your College experiences that have led you to this day!
Being a San Diego Graduation Photographer, i have seen that Most College Graduates choose to have their Grad Session on their College campus, using locations that are beautiful in architecture and meaningful to their College “Story”. For Example, did you spend most of your days in the library? is the library beautifully designed? that would make a perfect backdrop for a portion of your images. Not a library person? Maybe you spent most of your time in the School’s theater or a certain courtyard? When you find meaningful locations, you won’t look back and regret your choices.
Perhaps, you would like to have some creative Photography Studio Portraits like the one shown at the top of this page? We can do this as well. they are timeless and fashion forward at the same time! You should look like you are in 2022, as you can use these images in your LinkedIn profiles or whatever you may need online and they will be appropriate now and still appropriate 5-10 years from now.
I urge you to reach out and request more information for your photoshoot for the Class of 2024 & 2025 as early as possible.
